I am a mover, a transformation catalyst, an innovator, and a Network Weaver. Exploring the space between community, movement and meditative practices, dance music gatherings, digital infrastructure, and systems change. Imagining, aligning to, and collaboratively building an exciting, inspiring, sustainable, conscious, and connected world that works for all of us.
Timeline

Early life:
- Born in Minnesota, have a twin brother, always had bulldogs
Teenager:
- Loved playing multi-player games such as Call of Duty and RuneScape
- Paying for the game memberships/costs opened my door to wanting to learn to make money online, started with online forms
- Learned to code in Java in order to create bots to play the game for me
- Very studious, “straight A” student
- Opportunity to start university classes early
- Very scientific, “provable or it doesn’t exist” mentality
- Always knew I wanted to do something very very big in the world and was not finding many ways to do that within the contexts of corporate
- Started building websites for clients
- Struggled very much with self-acceptance due to my sexuality and identity
- Moved to Minneapolis a few months before turning 18
Adulthood 18-22
- Came out as gay at age 18 after feeling deeply how normal it is/was once I arrived to a open-minded university environment.
- Graduated high school at age 18 with 2 years worth of university classes completed.
- Graduated with my 4-year university degree in Management Information Systems at age 20.
- Moved to NYC after accepting a job offer from Ernst & Young (“EY”) while attending a conference in New York, NY to start my career as a Technology Consultant. At that time, I only told myself I accepted the job offer to afford to live in NYC. I was still very interested only in working for myself.
- Bought my first company – a web design and marketing company – with its own client base. Felt insanely pressured to deliver for the clients despite not feeling connected to all of their businesses and processes.
- Started traveling from NYC to Minneapolis (ironically after having just moved from there) or to Denver most weeks for client work.
- Began to travel routinely, spending weekends in Atlanta, Miami, Austin, Chicago, NYC, Los Angeles, Mexico City and 1-2 week trips to Europe, Colombia. I was officially bitten by the “travel bug.”
- Mention professional experience for this time period
Age 23 / COVID times – age 25
- Mention professional experience for this time period
- Traveled to Switzerland for work
- Left NYC and moved back to Minnesota for ~8 months
- I became very interested in blockchain, decentralized solutions, dipped my toe into movements like SolarPunk
- Moved to Los Angeles, CA to try something new. I am grateful that my job with EY allowed me to transfer.
- The first community I felt a part of was the underground nightlife scene in Los Angeles <3
- Dipped my toe into holistic options for mental health, exploring many many options from supplements, to herbs, talk therapy
Age 25-27
- Moved back to New York, NY from Los Angeles
- Attended Lightning in a Bottle music festival and within 2 weeks quit my corporate job of 5 years, feeling that it was not aligned with what I wanted out of life
- Dove headfirst into holistic options for wellbeing.
- Attended MAPS (Multi-Disciplinary Association for Psychedelic Sciences) convention in Denver, CO
- Traveled to Thailand, Bali, Vietnam, and Cambodia for 3 months
- first developed my personal practice with a 10-day silent meditation vipassana and started my yoga practice afterwards from Ubud, Bali classes
- My favorites: Pai and Koh Phangan (Thailand); and Ubud (Bali, Indonesia)
- Attended many, many conscious workshops
- Returned to NYC and moved back my things to Minnesota so I could travel again without worries of overhead costs.
- Traveled to Peru and Colombia for 2 months, spending time in the Sacred Valley and in the Amazon jungle near Pucallpa. Making friends, attending workshops, hiking, ceremonial experiences with native tribes.
- Returned home, experienced Lightning in a Bottle festival in California again
- Started a 9-month course on Somatic Channeling from a mentor I met at the MAPS Conference in Denver.
- Spent 3 months in Bahia, Brasil
- Spent a month in Buenos Aires, attending Amanita Festival and Resonar Festival, a contact improv festival, all while learning every day from the consistent cultural difference from what I was accustomed to.
- Started traveling with a group of friends in Argentina and later 3 months in Uruguay that showed me how I can live differently in this world, more oriented in community. Many workshops, ceremonies, and expansive experiences with the (non-native) tribe. A new understanding of what moving/movement means. Became comfortable living in a tent and needing very little to be content. Grounded in community like I had never experienced before.
- Began to develop my own service offering to the community, to the world
- First experiment was a Somatic Workshop I created and led; I wrote about in this post: Purpose And Somatic Movement Workshop Idea
- I later wrote about my new direction in this Substack post: Nomadic travel update and a path forward
- The rest is to be written… be sure to stay up to speed on my Substack.
